Welcome to 2nd Sutherland (Armco) Scout Group

2nd Sutherland (Armco) acknowledges the Dharawal people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we conduct Scouting, and in particular the Gweagal people who cared for the land on which our hall stands. We value and celebrate the Dharawal culture and language, and acknowledge the Dharawal people’s continuing connection to the land, the sea and the community. We pay respect to the Elders and their families, past, present and emerging, and through them, to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We extend our respect to those Aboriginal people who are members of 2nd Sutherland (Armco), and all First Nations people who are part of the Scouting movement today.

Since 1949, 2nd Sutherland (Armco) Scout Group has provided fun youth development activities, building resilient and confident young people aged 8 to 18 years in the Cub Scout, Scout and Venturer Scout youth sections, with the support of adult volunteer Scout Leaders and non-uniformed adult supporters.

Scouts has opportunities for the whole family to be involved. Everyone is welcome, and we value the diversity of our members. We offer fun activities for our youth members on different evenings throughout the week, as well as optional weekend and holiday activities.
